Amy Winehouse Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charges


Amy Winehouse has entered a plea of not guilty to charges of assaulting a fan last September. The singer, wearing her signature beehive, showed up slightly late.

Obviously. Luckily, her lawyer, Mark Haslam, was there to apologize.

He told the court she had left her north London home more than two hours earlier but had been "delayed." That's what they're calling snorting lines now?

When the Grammy winner arrived at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court, she gave her name as Amy Jade Civil - despite reports of her impending divorce from estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil. She was released on bail.
